Samsung: Cheap foldable phone will come in 2021

Samsung may launch two new foldable phones in the second half of the year. At the same time, the cheaper foldable handset model will come in the market by next year.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Z-Flip 5G variants with its flagship phablet Galaxy Note 20 series at the event in August. However, the affordable foldable smartphone, which will probably be named Galaxy Fold Lite, will probably not make its debut with this event.

Display will be bigger in new fold:

It is also being speculated about Samsung that the company will also offer a version of the foldable smartphone, which will be sold at half the price of the regular Galaxy fold. Tech reviewers say that the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a 7.7-inch screen, while the 6.23-inch cover display will be larger than the 7.3-inch and 4.6-inch displays of its older version, respectively.

Ultra-thin glass display can be found in Fold 2:

Samsung can use Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) in the Galaxy Fold 2, as the company did in the Galaxy Z-Flip. However, many people have also said that the next generation model of Galaxy Fold is not likely to get S-Pen support.

There will be no significant change in the specifications of the Galaxy Z-Flip

The Galaxy Z-Flip 5G variant is not expected to get any major changes according to the specifications compared to the original model. Samsung's new foldable smartphones will debut amid stiff competition from Huawei and Microsoft.
